Soody Tronson has been appointed to the Business Law Section Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association as Vice Chair of Programming.
The Section serves as a forum to educate members on recent developments and current issues in all fields of business law; provides a vehicle for the business bar to communicate with the general public, the California Legislature, regulatory agencies, business trade associations, and other interested groups. Specific substantive areas covered through 15 standing committees: Agribusiness, Artificial Intelligence, Business Litigation, BLS Programs Committee, Commercial Transactions Committee, Consumer Financial Services Committee, Corporations, Financial Institutions, Franchise Law, Health Law, Insolvency Law, Insurance Law, Nonprofit Organizations, Opinions, Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies.
Soody will continue to serve in the California Lawyers Association’s Intellectual Property Section as Chair of the Technology, Internet, and Privacy Interest Group. This dual focus bridges her intellectual property and transactional practices, and it will support practical, cross‑section programming for California practitioners.
